Bookings

To secure a date, a signed bridal contract and a $100.00 deposit are required. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. This deposit will be put towards the clients total wedding day balance if the Client(s) chooses wedding day services. The remaining balance will be due on the day of the event. Gratuity is never expected, but always appreciated. (NOTE: Bridal consultations and deposit fees are two separate costs).

Delays

A late fee of $25 will be charged for every 30 minutes of delay when a Client is late for a scheduled time, or if the scheduled makeup application exceeds the allotted time due to Clients delays. Artist(s) will work straight through until completion of services. No exceptions will be made (example: lunch break, forgotten tiara, etc.).

Satisfaction Guaranteed

Makeup will be completed to the client’s satisfaction, and acceptance of the completed makeup application is acknowledgment of approval by the client at the completion of application. To minimize breakdown of makeup, Client(s) should not rub, wipe, or touch their face once makeup has been applied. Any makeup added by Client(s) after completion of makeup application will void the Artist(s) responsibility for satisfaction.

Travel Fees

A travel fee will be quoted based on Apple Maps estimated drive time from Marlton, NJ. Client(s) will provide parking reimbursement where applicable, if valet is available, this will be charged to bride’s room. Hotel accommodations are required for the night prior to the wedding day when the start time is 7am or earlier, or the travel time is two hours or more and the start time is 9am or earlier.

Airfare and Accommodations

All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by the client. Costs may include, but are not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation, parking, per diem, service incidentals and all taxes.

Liability

All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the Makeup Artist(s) prior to the application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reactions. Client(s) agree to release the Makeup Artist (Ashley Welden) from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Payment

The final balance is due on the day of the event, before the Makeup Artist departs - no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) whose name(s) appear on the contract.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least fifteen (15) days prior to the Client’s reserved date. A cancellation fourteen (14) days or less, prior to the Client’s reserved date, will result in the Client(s) being held responsible for a payment of 50% of services agreed upon in this contact. Upon payment of the cancellation fee, Client(s) will have no further liability to Artist hereunder. Makeup Artist obligation to give services is subject to the unavailability of the Artist as a result of sickness, accidents, acts of God, and other reasons beyond the Artist’s control. If the Artist is unable to perform agreed upon services for any unforeseeable reason, unavoidable situation, or any other cause beyond her control, the full deposit will be refunded with the understanding that there will be no further liability with respect to the agreement.

Advertising

The Client(s) agrees to allow the Artist to take before and after photos to use for promotional and advertising purposes on her website(s) and other promotional materials.

Additional Artist

If, at the Clients request, another Artist is brought on to expedite the makeup process, and or minimize the “getting ready” time, a fee of $100 will be added on to the total cost of services.

Special Date and or Time

If the booking date is on holidays or holiday weekends such as Valentine’s Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Easter Weekend (Friday-Sunday), Memorial Day Weekend (Friday-Monday), Labor day weekend (Friday- Monday), Thanksgiving Weekend (Thursday to Sunday), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, or New Years Day, there will be an extra charge of $100.

Courtesy Rules

Pictures are helpful for reference. Please keep in mind that everything you see on social media is not reality. Be sure your bridesmaids bring a lipstick to touch up with throughout the day. Lipstick applications provided by the Artist will not last all day. A “set up” work area will be required with a chair, table, and electrical outlet. Please note that providing your own lashes and/or makeup will not affect the service price. Prices will remain the same.

The Right to Refuse Service

Every effort will be made to please the Client(s). Functionality will always be placed ahead of aesthetics and logic ahead of risk. If the Client(s) find it necessary to interfere with the ability to provide the service, the Artist is no longer obligated to stay for remainder of the service. The Artist’s expectation is that the Client(s) will at all times remain polite and respectful, as the Artist will be professional in rendering services and ensuring the success of the Client’s event. If the Artist feels that the Client(s) has any open facial wounds or a skin condition that could be infected or unsanitary, she has the right to refuse service to the client. Any Client(s) showing signs of contagious/communicable disease, illness, parasites, or fungus, will not receive service(s). If the Artist feels uncomfortable, threatened, sexually harassed, or verbally abused in any way, she will have the right to leave the premises without completing services.

Additional Clauses

The Artist shall be the exclusive makeup contractor for the Client’s event. Other assistants/staff may be permitted to perform makeup services at the Artist discretion only.

The Wedding Agreement may not be amended except in writing, signed by both parties.
